We are so excited to share McKenzie and Trent’s beautiful wedding at the Tin Top Gin with you today! This adorable couple is not only perfect for each other, but they had an absolute blast at their wedding and so did ALL of their guests! (Including the photographers…!) This couple didn’t let the threat of a little rain (…okay, the threat of a severe thunderstorm with maybe a potential tornado) dampen their spirits on such a special day. We were all praying that the weather alerts we were getting on our phones were wrong, because it was supposed to start pouring at the exact same time as their outdoor ceremony. Luckily for all of us, the rain held off and this beautiful couple gave their lives to each other in front of God and all their friends and family right on time, just as planned. After the “I do’s”, it was time to celebrate, and trust us when we say that this crew knows how to have a good time! We couldn’t wipe the smiles off of our faces as we watched both sets of parents cut a rug on the dance floor! Instead of a traditional catered meal, these two decided to have food trucks at their reception. Not only did guests get to choose between Los Tacos and Krusty’s Pizza for dinner, Kurbside Sweets was parked outside, ready for the newlyweds to “cut the cake”! The two shared a special spoonful of ice cream before all were invited to grab some dessert!
The details from Trent and McKenzie’s wedding day were stunning! We love how much thought went into each piece, and adore how McKenzie’s sweet maid of honor designed her gorgeous bouquet, which was made from both real and wooden flowers! And check out Trent’s engraved tie clip… what a perfect and meaningful wedding gift! Here’s a fun little fact about the two love birds: McKenzie began praying for Trent before she ever met him, and she wrote a letter to “him” years ago to give to him on their wedding day. Hearing her read this letter out loud, a letter that she had held onto for all these years until that faithful day when she would become a wife to her husband, gave us chills. Love stories like this don’t just happen, they are beautifully orchestrated all in God’s perfect timing, and we feel completely honored to have captured their amazing day for them!
Trent and McKenzie, our prayer for you is that you never stop praying for and choosing each other. Marriage is such an incredible blessing and we are thrilled that you have started one of the greatest adventures of your life! With the incredible family and lifelong friends surrounding you, we have no doubt that you will enjoy every minute of it!
