Wedding Day Details | Lubbock, TX

There are SO many things to think about as a bride preparing for your wedding day! The perfect florals, a killer dress, and oh yea don’t forget about all the gifts you need to purchase and wrap for the bridal party. One of the most important things that often gets overlooked is the little details that make your wedding special to you and your groom. As photographers, we love to capture these special details! We love that one day years down the road you will look at your wedding album and remember all those special little decisions you made about your wedding day. Gathering those details on your wedding day can feel a bit overwhelming with everything else going on so here are some items you might want to consider having with you on your wedding day. We want our brides to sit back and enjoy the wedding day without any added stress so we recommend putting all these special details in a shoebox and letting your maid of honor be in charge of getting these details to your photographer! Here are some items you might want to consider putting in your shoebox full of details.

Wedding Invitation

Your wedding invitation is something you might not think you would need on your wedding day, but we love to capture the invitation next to wedding day details! It is a good idea to bring your invitation, envelope, RSVP card, and any other pieces included in your invitation suite.

Accessories

If you plan to wear jewelry you will want to make sure you have your necklace, earrings, and any other special jewelry pieces in your shoebox. This includes any accessories the groom will be wearing like a special watch or cuff links. The shoes you are wearing will be photographed, and any other special accessories like perfume, handkerchief, or maybe the locket that is tied around your bouquet. A velvet ring box for your ringer bearer to carry is always a fun added touch!

Wooden Hanger

There will be lots of pictures taken of your dress! When capturing the dress, it helps to have a nice wooden hanger or even a monogrammed hanger with your new last name. This little detail goes a long way in your final images!

Vows

If you and your groom have chosen to write your own vows, having them written in calligraphy is a special touch that makes for beautiful photographs. After the wedding you can frame them for your home to read for years to come.

Putting all or some of these items in a shoebox and having your maid of honor deliver them to the photographer on the wedding day will ensure you have amazing detail shots included in your wedding day gallery!
