Kassy and Cody, before God and all of their family and friends, said “I do” on November 2, 2019. The week leading up to their wedding day had been cold and dreary, but the sun shone down on them that Saturday afternoon as Kassy walked down the aisle to her beloved. It was a beautiful day full of love, laughter, and sweet tears as the two prepared for the start of their new life together. These two met at church camp long ago (ages 11 and 13!), and made their way back to each other years later. Though they have each experienced heartbreaking losses, their family rallied around them on this amazing day and truly poured their hearts into making sure their wedding was everything they’d ever imagined! Kassy’s grandmother made their wedding cake, which was one of our favorite designs we’ve seen! Kassy’s father shared a heartfelt message with her during the wedding toasts, and Cody and his grandmother danced to Celine Dion’s “Because You Loved Me”. Our eyes were definitely watering up! Their love and commitment to each other was so precious to witness, and we are so blessed to have shared in their special day with them and their loved ones!
Kassy and Cody, you two are precious examples of commitment and love for one another! Thank you for allowing us be a part of such an amazing, joyous day! Your wedding day is just the beginning, and we know that you two will share a lifetime of love together as you begin your marriage. We are praying for you and rooting for you!
