Surrounded by the most important people in their lives, Brooke and Riley celebrated the start of a brand-new year and their brand-new life together on the most gorgeous January day! The beautiful First United Methodist Church in Lockney was the perfect place for them to say “I do”
These two met through mutual friends in Amarillo. Though they started out “just as friends”, as they spent more time together that friendship turned into something more. Before they knew it they were inseparable! Riley knew that this was a forever type of love, and so his wheels started turning about how he would ask Brooke to marry him. He decided to surprise her with a silver lab puppy and presented the pup (named Sky) to her while they were at his grandmother’s house. She was so excited about the puppy she didn’t realize what was going on…and when she looked up Riley was on one knee! Needless to say, she said “yes” and got to keep the puppy AND the guy!
From the moment we met them, we knew this couple was going to be one of our favorites. There is no other way to say it, they are just so darn CUTE together! These two chose to forego a first look so that their first time seeing each other would be as Brooke’s dad walked her down the aisle. And let me tell you, the anticipation was almost too much for us to bear! They couldn’t wait to see each other, and WE couldn’t wait for them to see each other. Brooke was absolutely STUNNING in her wedding gown. We worked some magic to make sure no one saw her as we took bridal party and family portraits, but we pulled it off! As Brooke & Riley hid away and rested before the ceremony, the church started to fill up. In fact, by the time Brooke entered the chapel there were no empty seats! What a testament to how loved these two are. Brooke and Riley were all smiles as they finally got to hold hands and vow to love each other forever and always.
After the ceremony, we finished up family portraits and got some fun photos of the entire wedding party together! Then, it was time for the real party to start. These two had an incredibly fun reception filled with lots of dancing, and even a performance from Brooke’s adorable sisters! Brooke and Riley’s family and friends showed up in a big way and helped them celebrate this momentous occasion!
Brooke and Riley, we are so thankful and so honored to have spent your special day with you. You two are some of the most genuine people we’ve met. You are humble, so kind, and so caring. We are thankful for those friends who introduced you to each other! Thank you a million times over for being so incredible. We pray that each day of your new adventure together gets better and better! Cheers to decades of love and happiness!
